この一帯は数多くの名所が散在し、なかでも下河内と長田のほぼ真中に位置するカマドヶ岩は自然の洞窟で、中には五十余りの地蔵が祀られています。その昔、戦国時代の豪族後藤又兵衛が隠れ住んだという伝説が残っています。伊福温泉地には後藤又兵衛の墓があり、伝説の由来等が刻まれています。

Many famous tourist spots are scattered throughout the area; of note is the Kamadogeiwa, a natural cave located between Fukawauchi and Nagata. Over fifty statues of Jizo are enshrined inside.
It is said that the powerful Goto Matabei used to live here in secret during the Sengoku period. His grave lies at the Ifuku hot springs, where the source of the legend has been engraved on his tombstone.
