“A hill to the west of the Mori District Kurushima Encampment Site from the Edo period was used to make this garden. It was made in conjunction with the erection of a shrine during the time of the 8th feudal lord Michihiro.

A megalith was boldy placed on the seemingly artificial hill behind the encampment, and a pond was dug at the foot. The center of a garden is a dry waterfall made using megaliths.”
