Rakanji Bridge is Japan’s third longest three-arched bridge, and was completed in Taisho 9. It’s most identifying characteristic is its extraordinary flatness, with the ratio of the distance between each leg to height being 5.0. This undoubtedly meant dealing with bridge stress, and construction proved to be a difficult ordeal.
Back when the Yabakei Railway was still operational, it was located on the path between Rakanji Station and Rakanji Temple.
