This is a famous spot in Ura-Yabakei where a range of uniquely sculpted mountains, also known as the Ichimei Higurashi Pass, extends for a kilometer along the Kusu-Yamakuni Line. The beautiful shape of the Yabakei ignimbrite provides a flattering frame to the fields and farmhouses scattered below.

The fall season offers an especially magical sight, where the crimson of the maple and wax trees dances a tango with the yellow of ginkgo trees beaming through the background green.
